Here is my Term 4 writing test result.

I am working at Level 2p. That means I am working above my expected National Standard level in Writing.

I am doing well at using the correct structure and language, correct punctuation, sentence structure, organising my ideas in the right order, spelling and using good ideas and vocabulary.

I think Tautoro School is fantastic because our

class gets to grow plants with Whea Hera. That is fun growing plants. We have learnt that seeds need good soil, nutrients, sun, water and the sun to grow and our class gets to dance with Whaea Dorothy. I enjoy using learning  games on our chromebooks like reading eggs and mangahigh. We read with Mrs Graham and we practice our reading with Whaea Hilary.

We also get to play sports with Matua Matt.We play soccer, touch rugby and rippa rugby and our best game is tackle rugby. When my mum came to teach in our class we played Dance Stop. That was super fun and we played Pukana. That is our favorite game. We also played Duck Duck Goose.

Recount Writing: At Ohaeawai.

I am learning to use the correct structure and language for Recount Writing.

On Saturday afternoon at Ohaeawai Me and my family were playing games. Me and my aunty and 2 brothers were playing touch. I was on my aunty's team. Me and my aunty were versing my 2 brothers. I had the ball. I put the ball on the ground. I tapped my foot with the ball. I ran to the try but I got caught. I passed the ball to my aunty. She dived for the try. She got a try. Then our uncle came down with a spike ball game. That game is like handball but you bounce the ball on the net. Another thing you can do, is you can pass the ball to your teammate. Then dad came out to play the game. It was the first person to get to 21. My team won. Then everyone came out to play. So me and my whole family went to the rugby field to play touch. It was me, my uncle and my brother, my mum and dad were versing my other brother and my 2 aunty’s and my uncle and my nana. They had to kick the ball because they had the ball. I just caught the ball. I ran up to the try line. I passed the ball to my uncle. He passed it to my dad. My dad went for the try. He passed the ball back to me. I kicked the ball over the post. My team had 1 point. I said I was happy. They tapped the ball.  My uncle passed the ball to my  brother. He ran for the try. He stepped my brother. He went to the try. He got the point. My team and there team were coming a tie. So me and my family went  back home to have dinner. That dinner was yummy. Then we had custard and strawberries. In Room 3 we have been growing plants to sell at our school
Market Day.

We started off with growing seeds like carrot seeds Tomato seeds and all the other seeds.

I thought that the plants were going to grow slow but they grew fast as but you have to look after your plants you need to give the plants water air and soil and the right temperature to germinate. When we saw the plants our whole class was saying that we are going to get  100 dollars or more. Our class was excited happy and proud of our self because  we grew heaps of plants but we had to get ready for our market day so we had to walk down to the green house  and bring it back to our class.
