I went to rugby

On Thursday morning me and my team went to the rugby fields in Kaikohe to play rippa rugby.

I felt excited.

When we got to the rugby fields me and my team and the other teams had a meeting.
I said, “Wow this is gonna be an awesome day.” |
The first thing I did was warming up. Me and my team were passing the ball around until our coach arrived. Me and Whetu went to play kicks over the rugby post. I felt glad.

Next it was time for our first game. We were playing against Tautoro 1. It was a good game. Our team lost but we didn’t feel so bad because we were playing against our friends.

We had three games. We lost two games and we won one game. I enjoyed playing my games. I felt like a rocket when I had the ball. I was running for a try heaps of times and I got three tries. I felt proud of myself.

Later on we went to the finals. My team and I went to play against Kaikohe East. We lost.
I was upset but I still enjoyed the game.
I had an amazing day.
